A course on Art, symbols in religions will be offered by the cross-cultural office on the 16th and 25th of March. This is an offer to all children or adults who want to draw or paint, while at the same time, seeking to understand meaning of different signs and symbols. Art is taken as a bridge to common understanding and affirmations.
The course will give participants the chance to talk about the meaning of symbols which are found in different religions and the possibility to draw and paint with canvass and acryl. One can also choose which material one will use to express images, conveying values and thoughts in religions.
The course will be held at Munkevængets Skole, Billedkunstlokale, Blok C at 15.00-18.00 p.m. The school is just behind Simon Peters Kirke. One can reach the area by taking bus number 1 or number 2.
